Seychelles’
improving economic standing and growing engagement in
the fast changing global economy continues to attract
the interest and retain the confidence of investors
in Seychelles and around the world.
The
Government is continuously reviewing the legal and administrative
framework so as to create and maintain an effective
business environment for new foreign and domestic investors
and those established businesses wishing to re-invest
in Seychelles. This is strengthened by the move towards
more liberalized economic policies.
In its sustained efforts to streamline the investment
approval process, the Seychelles Investment Bureau is
reviewing the current mandatory four weeks within decisions
are conveyed to investors to bring it more in line with
the needs of our clients while being mindful of the
long-term sustainability.
The Bureau together with the newly created Department
of Investment and Industry is actively engaged in consultation
with the various other Ministries and Departments to
revisit the various sector policies to further improve
the business facilitation process. The process would
enable us to draw on best practices while the outcome
would enable us to benchmark our service delivery in
terms of effectiveness and quality in line with the
modern and dynamic business environment.
As part of its role to assist the local businesses in
promoting their products and services, the Seychelles
Investment Bureau hopes that once again this directory
will further provide exposure and stimulate growth for
their business.
We are evermore grateful to all those who have in one
way or another contributed in the realization of the
Business Directory 2007. SIB would like to make a special
mention to those businesses, which have found the need
to register in the directory for the second time as
well as the new ones who have understood
the importance of such a powerful marketing tool.

its promise to successfully publish the second edition
of the Seychelles Business Directory. We sincerely believe
