In the government’s continuous effort to help the country develop and grow the small businesses sector, the Seed Capital start up grant has now been made accessible . The grant aims to provide a start-up capital to assist small businesses in their early stages of developing their business. The maximum amount for the grant is SCR 50,000. The grant shall be disbursed by instalments and paid by the Ministry responsible for Finance, Trade and Economic Planning.
1. PURPOSE OF GRANT
The grant aims to provide seed capital to fund start-up businesses to assist them in their early stages of development.
2. AM I ENTITLED ?
If you are a native Seychellois, starting a business or have a business; less than 3 years of existence, with less than 10 employees (including owners) , have no profits or generate a turnover under SCR 2million, you will be eligible to apply for the grant.
3. WHERE CAN I GET APPLICATION FORMS AND OTHER DOCUMENTS

4. HOW WILL MY APPLICATION BE PROCESSED
A committee will assess your application and will select successful cases according to the various criteria taking into account the entitlement list above. If necessary, applicants may need to undergo an interview to provide additional information on their project.
