:: Projects not requiring SIB’s Prior Approval
The Investment Bureau (SIB) informs the business community
and the general public that in line with the Government’s effort
to facilitate investment in Seychelles, it has revised the
list of projects that will no longer require submission of a
Project Memorandum to the Bureau for consideration.
The new amended list is as below and it will take effect as from
Monday 9th March 2009.

Non-Seychellois has to submit a small brief
to SIB for consideration based on an economic needs test.

Apply directly for a licence at SLA after LTD’s approval for the location and clearance
from relevant agency |

Tourist guide |
Apply directly for the licence at SLA. Certificate of qualification from STB is
required prior to issuing of a licence by SLA.

Replacement & additional boat of up to 5 boats for hire crafts |
Apply directly for licence at SLA after clearance from STB and SMSA |

Take Away Outlet |
Apply directly to SLA after receiving approval from Health, Fire Dept, (PA if necessary). |
Incentives Unit
The Bureau would also like to inform the businesses/TIA certificate
holders that the procedure for fiscal incentives under the TIA
will be transferred to the Ministry of Finance effective of Monday
9th March 2009.
