MINISTRY OF HEALTH AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT
HEALTH SECTOR FACILITY UPGRADE PROJECT
| Description |
The Government of Seychelles has received financial assistance from the OPEC Fund for International
Development (OFID). It intends to apply the proceeds of this loan for payments under the contract
for the procurement of Equipment (Office, Laboratory and Medical), Furniture and Teaching Aid for
the Victoria Hospital and the National Institute of Health and Social Studies (NIHSS).
The Ministry of Health and Social Development now invites sealed bids from bidders for the
supply of the following:

The Equipments to be procured have been divided into Lots. Bidders may bid for
one (1) Lot, a combination of Lots or for all the Lots.

Bidding will be conducted through International Competitive Bidding procedures acceptable to OFID.
Interested and eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Ministry of Health and
Social Development Tel No. (00 248) 388050, Fax No. (00 248) 321076 and inspect the bidding
document at the address given below from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.,
Monday through Friday commencing 19th April 2010.
A complete set of bidding documents in English can be purchased by interested bidders on the
submission of a written application to The Ministry of Health and Social Development, at the
address given below and upon payment of a non refundable fee of SR600.00 or US$ 50 by Bank Draft.
The document will be sent by airmail for overseas suppliers, delivery and surface mail for local suppliers.
All bids must be delivered by Wednesday, 2nd June 2010 at 10:00 a.m to The National Tender
Board at the address given below. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 2% of the
bid amount and should be bankers’ cheque or a bank draft or bank/insurance guarantee payable to
the Government of Seychelles. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of
bidders representatives who chose to attend at the venue mentioned below on Wednesday, 2nd June
2010 at 10:00 a.m.
