Import
An import permit is no longer required on a number of goods such as
car engines, sea vessels and selected pharmaceuticals.
The Prohibited and
Restricted List of Goods contains a list of goods - Prohibited Goods -
whose importation is for the time being prohibited by law
and a list of goods - Restricted Goods - which are permitted to be
imported by any person with the prior approval given by the agency
overseeing the importation of the good.
Export
Businesses trading across borders require an export permit for both
commercial and personal use.
This permit is needed for statistical and Customs
purposes, and for the administration of the Cities Convention for example.
Basic cost section provides the current cost for the import and export permits.
